The Kardashians debut mainly followed Kim’s SNL debut and the start of her relationship with now ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson, Kourtney’s engagement to Travis Barker and their fertility journey, and Khloé’s relationship with her daughter True’s father Tristian Thompson later finding out (from Kim) on the season finale that Thompson had a secret baby on the way. Today the seventh and final season of OWN’s Queen Sugar premiered on Oprah’s OWN Network. The sixth season brought a lot of trials and tribulations to the Bordelon family but they prove season after season that there’s nothing they can’t overcome as long as they have each other. To recap a little bit of season 6—Ralph Angel and Darla welcomed their daughter into the world, Aunt Vi had a health scare, the police wouldn’t leave Nova alone, Charley reconciled with her ex-husband Davis and agreed to move back to L.A., Aunt Vi and Blue were reunited, and at the end the Bordelons were victorious when not only did they not have to sell the farm despite being blackmailed but the farm was also declared a historical site. It looks like celebrations are in store for the Bordelons this final season, hopefully there will be more victories than anything. Watch the season 7 trailer here.
