Jade Forest, Cam James, Mauzy Music to Perform at After Summer Ends Music Fest

The performers for the unforgettable After Summer Ends Music Festival 2023 have been announced and it’s going to be epic!

After Summer Ends began announcing its lineup for their 2nd annual festival taking place on October 14 at the beginning of September first unveiling the hosts and DJs for the evening. Jae P. and J. Reed will be hosting, guiding us through the energy of the night while Champagne Trap and Genesis will be providing the sounds, bringing nothing but good vibes.

Opening the show is New Orleans born Riverdale, Georgia raised rapper and singer Jade Forest. Last year Jade released her debut EP Reign Forest with 5 soul-pleasing tracks including a feature from fellow After Summer Ends performer Mauzy Music. Jade opened up about the inspiration and creative process behind Reign Forest in a discovering series interview with Everything GOOD explaining the “lowkey” perfectionism and intricacies it took to birth Reign Forest which she began writing during a tough time in her life. “I was in a space of discovering what I wanted my “sound” to be for this moment of time because it’s constantly evolving,” she states in the interview. Being able to see Jade Forest’s evolution on the stage will be the perfect start to an incredible night.

Next in the festival’s lineup is Atlanta native Mauzy Music who’s good vibrations (*ques “Good Vibrations” by Mauzy Music) is sure to penetrate through the crowd, transforming the energy of each and every person in the room. Mauzy’s latest project, A Little Love dropped February of this year and features 10-tracks full of the highs and the lows of love. It’s Mauzy’s mission to spread more love, “In these recent years I’ve given a lot of thought as to what I want to be remembered by and what I should be contributing to the world, so I started looking within. The inspiration came at a time when I needed a little love myself and I realized the huge lack of love there was in the world and it all kind of came together,” Mauzy stated in his Everything GOOD discovering interview. We could all use more love and there’s no doubt with Mauzy Music taking the stage that we’ll receive that.

This night is a monumental one for hip-hop artist Cam James. Cam announced via Instagram that After Summer Ends will be his last performance. In August, Cam dropped a new single titled “CC” which is his second release of the year. At the beginning of this year he dropped a single titled “Ex Love”. In 2022, he released the third and fourth installments of his “Sadboy” series, 7-track project Sadboywinter and 6-track EP Sadboyspring. Cam James has more than enough heat to keep the night on fire.
