Megan’s putting the B in LGBTQIA
Rainbow tipped nails have been the latest popular nail trend but this rainbow nail set in particular worn by Jennifer’s Body star, Megan Fox has meaning behind it.
Megan Fox showed off her neon rainbow tip nails in selfies on Instagram the day before Pride Day, proudly stating her bisexuality. In the caption Fox wrote, “Putting the B in #LGBTQIA for over two decades @moveon @intoactionus #pride”.
The first time Megan Fox talked about her bisexuality publicly was in a 2008 interview with GQ. Fox talked to GQ about being 18 and in love with a Russian stripper named Nikita. The interviewer asked, “Why her?”, Megan responded, “She smelled like angels”. Throughout the 2008 interview Fox had some pretty interesting things to say. As they continued the talk about Nikita, Fox had a concern about where the interview was headed about her sexuality letting the interviewer know that she’s not a lesbian, she’s attracted to both sexes. “Look, I’m not a lesbian—I just think that all humans are born with the ability to be attracted to both sexes. I mean, I could see myself in a relationship with a girl—Olivia Wilde is so sexy she makes me want to strangle a mountain ox with my bare hands. She’s mesmerizing. And lately I’ve been obsessed with Jenna Jameson…”
Fox opened up more about her sexuality the following year in an interview with Esquire where she said, “I think people are born bisexual and they make subconscious choices based on the pressures of society.” She continued, “I have no question in my mind about being bisexual.”
