Old Hollywood glamour continues to make its way back and it was abundant on the 2023 Oscars red carpet. On March 12, stars arrived at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles dressed in chic designer gowns and dapper designer suits to celebrate the best in film.
Simple yet, chic, glamorous, and perfectly tailored looks came in black with Vanessa Hudgens in vintage Chanel, Margot Robbie in Giorgio Armani Privé, Jenny Slate in Thom Browne, and Deepika Padukone in Louis Vuitton. Jessica Chastain also followed the the old Hollywood glamour trend dazzling in Gucci.
Some stars opted for dramatic and bold colorful looks. Cara Delevingne looked absolutely stunning in a red gown that featured pockets and a high slit from Elie Saab. Oscar nominees in the Best Supporting Actress category Angela Basset and Stephanie Hsu rocked the bold and dramatic colorful trend with Bassett in a purple gown from Moschino and Hsu in a strapless pink gown from Valentino. The most unique in this red carpet trend was Fan Bingbing in a sleek sparkling silver dress with a dramatic green cape. But, Bingbing is not the only red carpet attendee that chose a unique ensemble.
