Miley Cyrus teased her new upcoming single with a bit of a tease. The 30-year-old singer shimmied out of a gold dress revealing black undergarments and then walking through sprinklers for one of the previews of her new song, “Flowers” dropping January 13, Cyrus’s ex-husband Liam Hemsworth’s birthday.
Cyrus began hinting at new music in December with “NEW YEAR NEW MILEY” posters spotted around Los Angeles. The new music was confirmed during Cyrus’s NYE special, “Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party” with a clip of the song playing, “I can love me better baby” you hear Miley singing while she walks uphill in a revealing gold dress and then “NEW YEAR NEW MILEY NEW SINGLE FLOWERS JANUARY 13” appears. Cyrus’s New Year’s special aired live December 31st on NBC and can be streamed on Peacock for a limited time.

Miley Cyrus hosted “Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party” alongside her godmother country music legend Dolly Parton. Of course, Cyrus and Parton performed together during the special with one of the duets being the iconic “Jolene”. The special also featured performances from Rae Sremmurd, FLETCHER, Sia, Paris Hilton, Latto, Liily, and David Byrne.
