Everything GOOD Mag’s best new music picks from Friday, March 18th to Friday, April 8th are in. The number one spot for best new album is Rosalía’s third studio album MOTOMAMI, released on March 18th with 16 tracks and zero skips. The week of March 18 also brought a couple of the best new singles, ”Light Me Up” by Rayvn Lenae and “Fair” by Normani. The following Friday, March 25 Latto dropped her sophomore album 777 which includes features from 21 Savage, Lil Wayne, Childish Gambino, and Lil Durk to name a few. Nicki Minaj, Jensen McRae, Nigo, FLO, and Buddy also dropped the week of the 25th.
Miley Cyrus, Harry Styles, Alex Isley, Dreamville, and Kehlani released their new music the week of Friday, April 1st. Miley Cyrus gifted us with something special, her first ever live album with a tracklist curated by fans which includes Miley’s most popular cover, Dolly Parton’s ”Jolene” and other amazing covers like ”Maybe” and ”Like a Prayer”. The hip-hop and R&B J. Cole led collective Dreamville made a comeback 3 years after Revenge of the Dreamers III with a surprise mixtape in collaboration with DJ Drama.
April 8th Omar Apollo released his debut full length album titled Ivory which guest stars Daniel Ceasar and Kali Uchis and lands at number two on our list for best new albums. Banks also released an album on Friday, April 8th but unlike Apollo, this is Banks fourth full length album. Jack Harlow, Chlöe, Schoolboy Q, and Pusha T released singles that week.
