It’s been awhile since Everything GOOD Mag has posted a list of the best new music but, alas here it is. Ten of the best new albums and ten of the best new singles released from January to Friday, February 18 are listed below with a total of 92 songs in a curated playlist. The number one pick for best new album is FKA Twigs January 14 release, Caprisongs with features from artists like Jorja Smith, Daniel Ceasar, and The Weeknd. On that same Friday Cordae dropped his second studio album From a Birds Eye View which is the pick for number three on the best new albums list. The month of February so far has been great for music with singles from Nicki Minaj featuring Lil Baby, BEAM’s no skip album Alien, Rosalía’s fire single ”SAOKO” from her upcoming album Motomami, Mary J. Blige’s album Good Morning Gorgeous, YG’s ”Scared Money” featuring J. Cole and Moneybagg Yo, and so much more. If this is what the first two months of 2022 has to offer, I wonder how incredible the rest of the year will be.
