Happy Black History Month: Celebrating Black Artists

Happy Black History Month! Every February of every year since historian Carter G. Woodson started Negro History Week in 1926 which 50 years later in 1976 would officially become Black History Month, we’ve celebrated the legacies of Black pioneers in days past. Here at Everything GOOD Mag we have a series called ”Black Artist Spotlight” where we put a spotlight on the accomplishments and impact of a Black artist whether that artist is an actor, writer, musician, fashion designer, painter, chef, etc… It’s Everything GOOD’s part in Woodson’s mission to educate people on Black history and culture.

Every day this month starting tomorrow we will be posting a “Black Artist Spotlight” article. We hope to educate and inspire our readers with the stories of each artist. Check out the past spotlights below!
