In the midst of beefing with Kanye West, Drake has shared the cover art and release date for his upcoming album, Certified Lover Boy. The highly anticipated album will be dropping this Friday, September 3rd.
Last week SportsCenter was interrupted with a cryptic message showing someone holding a sign with “CLB September 3” on it. After the then alleged Certified Lover Boy release date announcement SportsCenter tweeted, “We want to apologize for any interruptions viewers might have experienced during SportsCenter this morning. We had some technical difficulties that have since been resolved.”
Fan theory
Fans have taken to Twitter to analyze the Certified Lover Boy cover which is several pregnant woman emojis. The fan below’s theory is genius! Certified Lover Boy‘s release date was originally January of this year (9 months ago) but was postponed until this Friday which is Labor Day weekend and it’ll be baby making music, hence the pregnant emojis.

You can find billboards in Toronto of the latest Certified Lover Boy x Nike Merch. The shirts have the Nike sign on the front and have lyrics from the album on the back like “I don’t miss…let alone miss you” and “Something other than me has got to give”.
