Beyoncé Brings the Heat for New Rodeo Themed Ivy Park Collection

Beyoncé never misses! Her clothing line Ivy Park has given us a video previewing their new collection called “Rodeo” that’s set to drop August 19th. The new collection will include 58 women’s and unisex items, 5 pairs of shoes, and 13 accessories and will be available on the Adidas website.

The Rodeo collection is a tribute to the legacy of Black cowgirls and cowboys with hints of Beyoncé’s hometown of Houston, Texas where Western culture thrives. The video opens with actor, Gynn Turman riding on a horse and his granddaughter, a cowgirl, Melinda Siegal looking at the camera. Turman is most recognized for his roles in TV shows and movies such as A Different World, Cooley High, and The Wire but something you may not have known about the actor is that he’s a rodeo champion who was inducted into the Western Heritage Multi-Cultural Museum’s Hall of Fame. Throughout the video we see him and his granddaughter horseback riding. You can read more about them on the Ivy Park website. We also see shots of Beyoncé in front of flames in a denim bodysuit and bedazzled cowgirl hat, riding on a carousal like blue horse, and swinging around a rope (and her ponytail like it’s a rope) in the video. Others featured are musicians; Snoh Aalegra and Orville Peck, Houston rappers; Tobe Nwigwe, his family, and Monaleo, ropers; Emily Diana Alba and Julian Jacob Alamillo, and model Paloma Elsesser. On Ivy Park’s Instagram they shared the story of each individual featured in the video (see below).

Ivy Park wants to take all of my money! From the denim to the lavender and brown cow patterned matching set, these looks are everything.
