The week of July 16th was pretty epic when it comes to new music. WILLOW’s highly anticipated rock album lately I feel EVERYTHING released Friday, July 16th as well as John Mayer’s new album Sob Rock, Pop Smoke’s posthumous album Faith that includes endless features from artists such as Kanye West, Pharrell, Dua Lipa, 21 Savage, Chris Brown, and many more. Also, in the top 6 best new albums are the alternative rap trio Your Grandparents’s Thru My Window; each track is perfect for your spark and chill playlists, Clairo’s second album Sling, and Catie Turner’s EP Heartbroken and Milking It; both of those will have you feeling like you’re floating on a cloud all while tears fall from your eyes. The top six best new singles were a tough choice to make but the single that had to be put in the number one spot is Normani and Cardi B’s viral “Wild Side”, the song itself is iconic but the music video is one of the best if not the best that’s dropped so far this year. Trippie Redd’s “Holy Smokes” featuring Lil Uzi Vert is in at number two, Syd’s “Fast Car” at number three, Alessia Cara’s “Shapeshifter” at number four, KHEA’s “Only One” with Julia Michaels, Becky G, and Di Genius at number five, and at the number six spot is Peach Tree Rascals’ 90’s/2000’s R&B inspired track titled “Popeye”.
