The two Voice judges are officially married and it was a “dream”.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton announced on Instagram that they tied the knot on Saturday, July 3, 2021 after 6 years together and an 8 month long engagement.
Here are all of the details from their big day.
1. The wedding was in Oklahoma.
The wedding ceremony was intimate and held in a chapel the groom, Blake Shelton built just for their special day on the grounds of his Oklahoma ranch.

2. Carson Daly officiated the wedding.
Carson Daly, the host of the singing competition show The Voice officiated the wedding! Shelton and Stefani were both judges on the show together and Shelton is still a judge on the show after 20 seasons. Daly spoke about the wedding on the Today show, he laughed about having to share the details of the day saying, “I feel like the uncle that’s just here to blab”. He continued, “It was very very special. It was incredible to be a part of such a special moment in their lives.” Daly described the ceremony as being, “the perfect blend of country and glamour of course just like Blake and Gwen…the best way to describe it is it was perfectly them.”
3. Gwen Stefani’s veil had the names of her three sons Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo hand embroidered at the hem.
Stefani wore a custom Vera Wang high low lily white silk georgette gown with hand tumbled tulle, a plunging neck line, and cut away back. There was also a very sweet detail to the dress, the veil. The lily white chapel length veil was hand embroidered with Blake’s name as well as her three sons Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo. The font of the embroidery is so Gwen!
4. Gwen’s reception dress was badass!
“You need a party dress when u get to marry @BlakeShelton”, Gwen Stefani wrote in an Instagram caption of a photo of her reception dress which is also custom Vera Wang. This dress also had a special touch like her wedding gown, it has two hand embroidered love birds symbolizing Gwen and Blake with three additional love birds representing her sons. The boots with that dress…HAWT!!
5. Only close friends and family were invited, no celebs (except for Carson).
The bride and groom didn’t bring Hollywood to the wedding. None of their fellow Voice judges were invited including Maroon 5 singer, Adam Levine despite their close relationship on the show.
6. Their first dance was to a song from Pretty In Pink.
Blake Shelton made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and announced that he and Gwen’s first dance would be to Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark’s “If You Leave” from the1986 cult classic film starring Molly Ringwald, Pretty In Pink, “We both love the song. We’re both fans of the 80s, why not?” Shelton explained.
