Ariana Grande Says ‘I Do’ in Audrey Hepburn Inspired Wedding Look

The elegant wedding gown was a pact made by Vera Wang.

Ariana Grande is now a married woman! She gave Vogue all the deets on her big day including exclusive never before seen photos.

On Saturday, Ariana Grande walked down the aisle holding hands with her mama as she sang on “Thank U Next” as well as her father who was there holding her other hand, Grande says this was personal high point and one of the most special moments for her. She said “I do” to real estate agent Dalton Gomez whom she began dating in January 2020 and they were engaged the following December.

The ceremony was intimate with less than 20 guests in Ariana Grande’s Montecito, California home. They said their vows under gorgeous flowers hanging down from the cathedral ceiling, it was romantic with candles lit around the room and of course they did it in style. Grande wore a custom lily-white, silk charmeuse, empire-waist column gown with a sculpted neckline, an exposed bra-strap closure, and a plunging back designed by iconic designer and wedding gown extraordinaire, Vera Wang. It was accessorized with a shoulder-length hand-pleated bubble veil with a satin bow at the top which is similar to the bow veil worn by Audrey Hepburn as Jo Stockton in the 1957 film Funny Face. What a perfect bridal inspiration!

This was a full circle moment for the bride and the designer. A few years ago at the Met Gala, Vera and Ariana made a pact. Wang promised Grande that when the time came for her big day she would be the one to create her wedding day look, which is exactly what happened. Along with the gown assemble there were additional accessories like a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti platform heels and Lorraine Schwartz earrings that were chosen to match her engagement ring. Altogether, everything was styled by Mimi Cuttrell.
