The Oscars is known for iconic red carpet looks and this year was no exception. The award ceremonies this year have been virtual due to COVID-19 restrictions but the Oscars, which is ending this years award season, was entirely in person while still taking safety precautions being that it was hosted at multiple venues. As the country is reopening and we’re going back to “normal” (sorta), the stars came out to shine last night. From old Hollywood glam to bold bright looks the 93rd Oscars red carpet is one for the books. Usually, the mens red carpet looks can be either dull and repetitive or too crazy but two men in particular caught my eye. Judas and the Black Messiah actor, Lakieth Stanfield’s personality showed through his 70s inspired Saint Laurent jumpsuit and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom actor, Colman Domingo stood out in a bright hot pink Versace suit. Also unique was One Night in Miami director (who wasn’t nominated but should’ve been), Regina King’s glamorous custom Louis Vuitton gown that reminds me of a pretty blue butterfly. There are 7 other looks that caught my attention and they are listed below.
