Megan Thee Stallion Releases Her Debut Album ‘Good News’

At 12 AM EST Megan Thee Stallion released her debut studio album titled Good News. But, this album isn’t the only good news Megan has given us. Megan partnered with Amazon Music’s Rap Rotation to create the “Don’t Stop” scholarship for women of color. She announced the two winners of the $10,000 scholarship Nov. 17th. We love artists that use their platform for GOOD!

In other good news, Megan was named GQ’s rapper of the year and named Apple Music’s breakthrough artist of the year. Go, Megan!

Despite a difficult year, being allegedly shot by rapper Tory Lanez, Megan is still on top of her game. She also released a collaboration with Fashion Nova made for all body types.

Like the Savage Megan is she fired shots in the first song on the album “Shots Fired” at Tory Lanez, addressing the alleged shooting on a sample of Biggie’s “Who Shot Ya”. After the first track it’s a party with Megan’s usual twerkable sound and freaky lyrics. But, she did change pace on a couple of tracks. You can dutty wine to “Intercourse” ft. Popcaan & Mustard and maybe fist pump to the pop sound of “Don’t Rock Me to Sleep”. Good News features hit makers such as Beyonce, DaBaby, SZA, City Girls, Lil Durk, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Popcaan, and Young Thug. My favorite songs are “Freaky Girls” ft SZA, “Go Crazy” ft Big Sean & 2 Chainz, Outside, and of course the song we know very well “Savage Remix” ft Beyonce.

You can decide what your favorite tracks on the debut album by listening for yourself below:

Megan also dropped a music video for the song “Body” featured on the album. The video features different celebrity women such as Taraji P. Henson and Blacc Chyna. Watch the visual below.
