Halloween is the time of the year we can all dress up as whoever or whatever we want and not be judged. It’s a fun time where we go to parties dressed up as our favorite characters and celebrities. The costume category of celebrities has seemed to become the most popular way to dress up for Halloween.
The day before Halloween I looked for my last minute costume of what was left behind at Party City. There were a few costume wigs for celebs like Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande that they clearly couldn’t legally put her name on because it was called “thank u wig”, one that looked like Khloe Kardashian, and one that that looked like Post Malone called “SoundCloud rapper wig”. As we’re dressed up as our fav celebs, who are they dressed up as? Well, they dress up as other celebrities.
I think I speak for most of us when I say I look forward to seeing what the celebs and their glam team put together for their extravagant out of the box looks.
Here are my favorite celebrity Halloween looks this year in no particular order:
Ryan Destiny looked exactly like this reaction of Lauryn Hill.
Kendall Jenner as Pamela Anderson in the 1996 film Barb Wire with a message to go vote.
Marsai Martin as singer Rihanna on the May 2020 cover of Vogue.
Ciara went all out with as total of 4 looks this Halloween. I’m showing 3 out of the 4 looks, the one not included is her as Nicki Minaj.
The first look above is with her son, Future, with him as Offset and her as Cardi B.
Ciara as Megan Thee Stallion on “Girls in the Hood” single cover.
Ciara and hubby Russell Wilson as Busta Rhymes and Janet Jackson in the iconic music video for their song “What’s It Gonna Be?!”.
The Weeknd was unrecognizable as The Nutty Professor.
Tiffany Haddish slayed as model Pat Evans on the cover of the Ohio Players album ‘Pain’.
Saweetie was in the Halloween spirit as well and had 3 costumes this year. Her first look which isn’t included in this article was a recreation of a RuPaul photo and she looked almost exactly like the photo!
Her 2nd costume (picture above) was a recreation of the iconic Bootylicious by Destiny’s Child, Saweetie playing as Beyonce, Kelly, and Michelle.
Saweetie and Quavo got all decked out as Marvel characters. Saweetie as Mystique which she called “Criptique” and her boo Quavo alongside her as Beast.
Quincy recreated photos of legendary Frida Kahlo who he has a very close resemblance to.
Winnie Harlow recreated photos of Dorothy Dandridge for the historic 1954 film Carmen Jones.
Below is Winnie as Dorothy and her boyfriend, Lakers player Kyle Kuzma as Harry Belafonte.
Another iconic recreation. Skai Jackson paid homage to Foxy Brown.
There were more amazing looks from celebs but I had to choose my absolute favorites. You can see the honorable mentions on our Instagram @everythinggoodmag.
