Best movies I’ve seen in 2014…

In 2014, I have gotten really into movies (basically obsessed), especially those made before 1999.

Thanks to Netflix my obsession was validated. Movie after movie, decade after decade, a semi vintage movie connoisseur was born.
Because of this new found love I’ve seen a lot of good films, some now my favorite movies ever of all time.
For you (because what the hay and the year is almost over) I have come up with a list of the best movies I’ve seen in 2014.
Now, of these favorites are not just vintage (vintage sounds better than old), there are pretty recent released movies as well!
Annie Hall (1977)

Annie Hall (Diane Keaton) is now one of my style inspirations.Get On Up: The James Brown Story (2014)

A unique way to tell the story of Legend, James Brown.
This is not only one of the best movies I’ve seen in 2014 but ever. Dirty Dancing (1987)

Why can’t teenage life actually be this cool?Barefoot in the Park (1967)

A story about a couple that are complete opposites. You’ll fall in love with Corie’s crazy free spirit (Jane Fonda).Pretty in Pink (1986)

Um, a classic. Style, style, style. The Graduate (1967)

Watch it. Just watch it. Divergent (2014)

This movie has so many twists and turns! Ooooo…The Apartment (1960)

A sweet, feel good romance. An example of why I love vintage movies especially from the 60’s. Roman Holiday (1953)

Audrey Hepburn is my favorite actress of all time. (But, the ending of this is terrible). While You Were Sleeping (1995)

Uh, Sandra Bullock. 20 Feet From Stardom (2013)

I have a new found respect and knowledge of background singers.Move Over Darling (1963)

Witty, fun, an all around classic 60’s movie. The Loving Story (2011)

You know its real love when you sacrice your life to be with someone, and in the process breakdown barriers. After Earth (2013)

Amazing concept that will make you think twice about the things you fear.
Empowering film. You’ve Got Mail (1998)

Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan have great chemistry as witnessed in Sleepless in Seattle.
And it’s pretty funny how, now we have twitter DMs.
As you can see I didn’t go to the movies in 2014 expect for a few times. Instead I stayed in and watched romantic comedies on Netflix.
Lets see what movies 2015 has to show!
